What it is
A tool for a quick task brain-dump that processes it into a list of concrete contexts and time estimates.
Why I built it
I keep exploring something missing from tools like Todoist and TickTick: sequential task processing, one at a time, both when processing the brain-dump and later when actually doing the tasks.
What mattered to me
- Cutting cognitive load. Showing one task at a time instead of a list lets you focus on one thing in the moment and move quickly to the next. It’s a direct application of my cognitive science background to a productivity tool.
- A deliberate contrast to existing tools. Todoist and TickTick show lists. Autowork deliberately doesn’t.
