What it is
A 3D bathroom planner. Lay out fixtures on a floor plan, visualize the layout, work out how many tiles you need, and export a spec sheet to PDF.
Why I built it
I was renovating my bathroom and needed to visualize the fixture layout and work out tile quantities before buying. Instead of looking for an off-the-shelf tool, I checked how fast I could build my own.
What mattered to me
- Speed. The core of the tool, the 3D layout, took four hours to build. The tile-counting module was one extra evening.
- Real use, not a demo. The bathroom designed in this tool is actually built in my apartment. That’s the strongest proof it works.
Status
Done and in use. This isn’t a practice project, it’s a tool that solved my own problem.
