What it is
A sports schedule in your timezone. Three features: filter games by time of day, a team watchlist, and one-click calendar export for any game. Leagues: NHL, NBA, NFL, Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, La Liga, Formula 1.
Why I built it
I watch US leagues, mostly NHL hockey and NBA basketball, plus European football and Formula 1. The problem: most NHL and NBA games air in the middle of the night European time. For years I copied schedules into my calendar by hand and still missed half of them.
What mattered to me
- The time-of-day filter. I see at once what I can watch live without wrecking my sleep. On a team’s page, games are colored by time of day: night, evening, day. One glance tells me what’s realistic to watch.
- One-click calendar export. A game lands in the calendar as an event, no retyping.
- The team watchlist. I pick the teams I follow and the rest drops out of view.
- An experiment with AI in the design process. I build these small apps in code to see what UX work gains and loses when AI joins the process. From this build: AI holds to the process and repeatable steps well, but has little feel for designing good interactions. The second half is the more interesting one.
Status
The core works and I use it every day: the time-of-day filter, the watchlist, calendar export, theme presets, game coloring. The project is fresh off a public launch and I’m collecting feedback, so the visual layer and some interactions will keep changing.
